I wanted to take a moment to share my feedback on the recent mini construction work that carried out at my home by Roland and Issey, specifically the installation of the working desk area and the family friendly cabinet. First and foremost, I’m really pleased with how both pieces turned out. The working desk area feels thoughtfully designed. It’s functional, well positioned, and fits naturally into the space. The cabinet is equally great; it’s clear that careful thought went into making it safe, and accessible for everyone. I do want to acknowledge that the process wasn’t without its hiccups. There were moments where things didn’t go entirely as planned, and I appreciated how you both handled those situations. Rather than letting setbacks derail the project, you maintained open and effective communication throughout, kept me in the loop, and worked through the challenges with professionalism and care. What truly stood out was your commitment to seeing the project through to the very end. That dedication made a real difference, and it gave me confidence that I was in good hands. Thank you both for your hard work and for delivering results I’m genuinely happy with. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your services to others.

Review for Design 4 Space – Elynn & Wayne We found Design 4 Space through Qanvast and worked with Elynn, with Wayne supporting us throughout the journey. Elynn was our main point of contact and managed the contractors directly, while Wayne provided steady support behind the scenes, making the whole process feel well rounded and reliable. A strong deciding factor for us was the assurance of Design 4 Space’s CaseTrust accreditation and the Qanvast Guarantee, which gave us complete peace of mind. On top of that, Design 4 Space is the local distributor for Ecoply Wood and Ecoply Contact Adhesive – both certified as among the lowest formaldehyde emission plywood and glue in the market – making them likely the most cost efficient choice for homeowners who prefer low-formaldehyde products. Beyond these advantages, Elynn herself was straightforward in our communications, respected our budget clearly, and was upfront about additional charges before decisions were made. There were no surprises about hidden costs in our renovation journey. Over the few months we worked together, Elynn always answered our many questions patiently and guided us through each phase of the renovation. Communication was smooth and consistent – we never felt ghosted – and she even handled a neighbour’s complaints about renovation noise during the day without troubling us, only updating us afterwards. Elynn’s ability to refine our ideas and translate them into specifications for her contractors was the most valuable asset to us. We had a general sense of what we wanted, and she helped sharpen those concepts – advising us on which premium features were worth investing in and which ones weren’t necessary. Her guidance made our vision come to life in a practical, cost effective way. During the renovation phase, Elynn’s coordination with contractors was excellent. She held them accountable as much as was within her control, ensuring everything stayed on track and the house was even delivered ahead of schedule. This was when we especially felt solidified in our decision to work with an interior designer. Elynn managed all aspects so well that we didn’t feel the need to visit the house at all until completion, because we trusted her capabilities that much. At handover, the house was in great condition, and the minor issues we jointly spotted (renovation will never be perfect!) were resolved within the week thanks to her firm management of her contractors. Elynn also emphasized the one year post renovation warranty and reassured us that we should not hesitate to reach out if any need arises. Together, Elynn and Wayne were transparent, honest, and especially reassuring for us as first time homeowners. They provided great customer service, strong communication, and made the renovation journey far less stressful than we expected. After meeting up with a few IDs, my wife and I decided to engage Vincent Chuah to handle our BTO because of his experiences and knowledge in dealing with details. Being the owners, we had certain requests (and some were not practical without our knowledge) and it was Vincent who diligently sharing the PROs and CONs to each of these requests, for us to make the best and most practical decisions. e.g. toilet door swing in vs swing out, built in study desk vs buying off the shelf, etc. On top of that, Vincent gave us better solutions. E.g. my new neighbour was surprised we could install twin mini exhaust fans in our common toilet, which was something his ID said No to him. Any ID can draw the best 3D pictures but it is the end result and the post reno defect rectification that matter. We were surprised by how quick he arranged the workers to fix the issues we identified. Yes, after sales service is also another important consideration for us before committing to an ID. One aspect I have no regret to spend extra on, is the high quality LED lighting for our BTO. I like to turn them on in the evening and the vibe in my dining, living and study areas changed completely. Overall, renovation is a process for me and my wife to rediscover our daily habits and how we want to live in this new home for the next 5 to 10 years. The help from Vincent did exactly that!

Get to know this company from Qanvast. Emerson who is my ID is a great guy, he listened to our idea and even give us an input/more creative idea to make our old 4 room hdb to look like a condo. We revamp the whole kitchen(floor hacking) and living room. Paint and overlay all the rooms plus store and living room with vinyl and the whole process took only 8weeks to completed.. Throughout the process, Emerson will always update us on the work on progress even though we stay there while the renovation is ongoing. The modern luxury design with elegant curves creates a sophisticated and spacious feel. The balance of clean lines and soft edges adds a touch of understated elegance. Emerson is always there whenever my wife is unsatisfied with the workmanship. He will called the contractor/carpentry to rectify the problem ASAP.. Overall my experience with Emerson and the company is trustworthy, reliable and honest. They will try hard to follow our budget and will not push you to add anything unnecessary to make your budget burst. Good job Emerson.. Highly recommended.
